Floor Sealing

If you’ve just had your car park cleaned and remarked or if you have just opened a brand new car park, you really should protect it with the right type and quality of sealer.

Sealers can help prevent chemical damage to your floor and line markings from oils and other chemicals – but not all sealers are compatible with all concrete floors.

Northside Line Marking are specialists in floor sealing and we have experience in using solvent and water based sealers as well as two pack epoxy sealers. Our preference is to use water based sealers wherever possible but the choice of sealer is always dictated by the type of concrete floor you have. Many new concrete floors have curing agents and these can react with sealers and cause them to delaminate – in many cases curing agents need time to dissipate through exposure to UV and of course this can take quite a while if your car park is in a basement.
